Designed by Hale Studios, the house employs and interesting timber facade structure to create a unique space within the house.
The timber slats that cover the facade create a permeable structure that filters light into the space and creates an interesting aesthetic on the external skin of the building.
The facade blurs the boundary between internal an external spaces and the humble nature of the wood provides a warm and soft feeling to the structure. The combination between concrete structural elements and the timber elements is also an interesting contrast.
