Nelson Atkins Museum.

The Nelson Atkins Museum.


The Nelson Atkins Museum was designed by Steven Holl. The structure is eye catching-ly beautiful and the material use is unique and intriguing. 

The museum is clad in special glass panes that reflect and diffuse light into the building during the day and light up to illuminate the building at night. 

This is a great example of the manipulation of light by material choices and the effect that it can have on a building.
